Basicintroduction

Safetyglassreferstotemperedglass,laminatedglassandotherglassproductsmadeoftemperedglassorlaminatedglassthatmeetthecurrentnationalstandards,suchassafetyinsulatingglassWait.Accordingtodifferentneeds,safetyglasscanbemadeofordinaryglass,temperedglass,heat-reinforcedglass,orhollowglass.Safetyglasshasgoodsafety,impactresistanceandpenetrationresistance,andhasthefunctionsofanti-theft,explosion-proofandanti-impact.

Locationofuse

Safetyglassisusuallyusedinsomeimportantfacilities,suchasbankgates,valuablesdisplaycabinets,doorsandwindowsofprisonsandcorrectionalcenters.Thesepartsmaybecontinuouslyattackedbybanditswithvariousweapons.Thehigh-strengthsafetyglasscanresistpenetrationwithinaperiodoftime,gainingenoughtimeforotherdevicestoreact.Someofthemostfamousculturalrelicsintheworld,suchasthe"MonaLisa"andthe"DeclarationofIndependence"areprotectedwithsafetyglass.

BulletproofglassismadebybondingmultiplelayersofglassandmultiplelayersofPVBinterlayerfilm.Itcanalsobemadeofordinaryglasswithbulletprooffilm.Itcanwithstandtheexplosionofpistols,riflesandevenbombs.Shock.Interroristbombingsincitiesaroundtheworld,glassfragmentsarethemaincauseofpersonalinjury.Whentheexplosionoccurred,theglassfragmentsflewhorizontallylikeraindrops,andcouldevenflyseveralkilometersaway,causingmorethan90%ofthepeopleinjured.Evenifthelaminatedglassisshatteredduringtheexplosion,itcanstillbekeptintheframeintact,whichgreatlyreducesthedamagetopeoplecausedbytheglassfragments.

Themainvarietiesofsafetyglassare:temperedglass,laminatedglass,bulletproofglass,anti-theftglass,fireproofglass,laminatedglass,protectiveglassandfilmedglass.Amongthem,thefilmglasshaspartofthefunctionsoftemperedglass,laminatedglass,bulletproofglass,anti-theftglass,fireproofglass,wireglassandprotectiveglass,andisanewtypeofbuildingmaterial.

Temperedglass

Itistemperedglass.Whentheglassisuniformlyheatedtothesofteningtemperature,theglassismadebyquenchingwithacoolingmediumsuchashigh-speedair.Thereisuniformcompressivestressonthesurfaceoftheglass,whichcanimprovethemechanicalstrengthandthermalshockresistanceoftheglass.Whenairisusedasthecoolingmedium,itiscalledtempering;whenoilandotherliquidsareusedasthecoolingmedium,itiscalledliquidtempering;whenmoltensaltisusedasthecoolingmedium,itiscalledsaltbathtempering.Accordingtothedegreeofrigidityandtheshapeoftheproduct,itcanbedividedintocompletetempered,regionaltempered,semi-tempered,flattemperedandcurvedtempered.Thebendingstrengthoftemperedglassis3to5timeslargerthanthatofuntreatedglass,andcanreach150to250MPa,andthethermalstabilityisincreasedby3to4times.Itcanwithstandsuddenchangesintemperatureof200to250℃,andthereisnosharpnesswhenbroken.Theangularparticleshavelittleharmtothehumanbodyandarethemostwidelyusedsafetyglass.

Duetotheadoptionofnewtemperingprocesses,suchasrollerorair-cushionflattempering;thedevelopmentofnewcoolingmedia,suchasaddingspecialsolidmedia,highlyvolatileliquidstocompressedair,andtheuseofsiliconeoilThemediumandsolidcontactmethod,etc.,greatlyimprovesthecoolingefficiencyofthecoolingmedium,andcantemperthinglassof1.7to3mm,furtherimprovethestrengthoftheglass,andreduceitsownweight.Alsodevelopedglazedtemperedglasswithprintingandsprayingcoloredglaze.

Toughenedglassismainlyusedintheconstructionofdoors,windows,showcases,enclosurestructuresandasdecorativematerials.

Laminatedglass

Itisacompositemadebysandwichingtransparentpolyvinylbutyralfilmorothergluedmaterialsbetweentwoormoresheetsofglassandgluedbyheatingandpressure.Glassproduct.Whensubjectedtoanimpact,duetotheelasticityoftheintermediatelayerandstrongadhesion,itcanimprovetheimpactresistance,andthefragmentswillnotfallorsplashwhenbroken,whichcaneffectivelypreventorreducetheharmtothehumanbody.Inaddition,heat-absorbingglass,heat-reflectiveglass,coloredglassandconductivefilmglasscanalsobeusedtomakespeciallaminatedglass.Mainlyusedforpartswithspecialrequirementsintransportationvehiclesandbuildings.

Laminatedglass,asakindofsafetyglass,isshatteredbyimpact.DuetothebondingeffectofthePVBfilmsandwichedbetweenthetwoordinaryglass,itwillnotcausesharpfragmentstohurtpeoplelikeordinaryglass.

Atthesametime,thesoundinsulationandsunlightcontrolperformanceofitsPVBinterlayermakesitanewtypeofbuildingmaterialwithenergy-savingandenvironmentalprotectionfunctions:theuseoflaminatedglasscannotonlyisolate1000~whichcanpenetrateordinaryglass.Thecoincidencenoiseof2000Hz,anditcanblockmorethan99%ofultravioletraysandabsorbheatintheinfraredspectrum.Asalaminatedglassthatmeetstheperformanceofnewbuildingmaterials,itisboundtoplayahugeroleintheuseofsafetyglass.

Bulletproofglass

Usetemperedglass,chemicallyreinforcedglass,wire(mesh)glassandhigh-strengthorganicmaterials(suchasorientedplexiglass,polycarbonate,etc.),andadoptinterlayertechnologyCompositeglassmade.Accordingtodifferentrequirements,differentmaterialscanbeselectedtoformdifferentcompositestructurestoachievetheperformanceofresistingbulletshootingandtheeffectofpreventingtheftwithinacertaindistance.Generallyusedinbuildingsandborderobservationpostswithspecialbulletprooforanti-theftrequirements.

Glassinwhichawire(mesh)isembeddedintheglassduringrolling.Whentheglassisbroken,itsfragmentsarestillhangingonthewire(mesh)withoutfalling.Incaseoffire,itcanpreventtheflamefromspreadinginashorttime,delaytheexpansionofthefire,andcanbeusedasthewindowandsmokepartitionofthefire-proofbuilding.Itisgenerallyusedasatransparentprotectivestructureforbuildings,skylightsandtransparentfencesforcourtyards,parks,zoosandsportsvenues.

Protectiveglass

referstoglassthatcaneffectivelyshieldthehumanbodysuchasX-raysandthermalneutrons.Ithashightransparencyandcontainsleadthatcanabsorbhigh-energyraysandboronthatcanabsorbthermalneutrons.Itisstabletohigh-energyrays,doesnotchangecolor,crystallize,anddamageafterbeingirradiated.Itismainlyusedintheresearch,productionandapplicationofatomicenergyandisotopesinthepartswhereprotectionisrequired.

Filmedglass

Itreferstoaglassproductpastedwithanorganicfilm,whichisbrokenunderastrongenoughimpact,andtheglassshardscanadheretotheorganicfilmwithoutflying.Filmglassisanewtypeofenergy-savingsafetyglass.Accordingtotheirfunctions,glassfilmismainlydividedinto:privacyfilm,decorativefilm,heatinsulationandenergysavingfilm,explosion-prooffilm,bulletprooffilm,amongwhichexplosion-prooffilmandbulletprooffilmbelongtotheranksoftypicalsafetyfilms,buttheirenergy-savingeffectisrelativelypoor.

Identificationmethod

1.Themostimportantandsafestwayistoseeifthereisa3Ccertificationmarkonthesafetyglass.Becauseaccordingtoregulations,the3Ccertificationmarkmustbeonthesafetyglass.

2.Bylistening,thatistosay,knockingtheglasswithyourhand,iftheglassmakesacrispsound,itmeansthattheglassistemperedglass,otherwiseitisordinaryglass.

3.Usingapolarizer,thetemperedglasscanseethecoloredstripesontheedgeoftheglassthroughthepolarizer,andyoucanseeblackandwhitespotsonthesurfaceoftheglass.Thepolarizercanbefoundinthecameralensorglasses.Payattentiontotheadjustmentofthelightsourcewhenobserving,sothatitiseasiertoobserve.
