Introduction

High-strength thin steel sheet refers to a strip of 0.1~4mm rolled from low-alloy high-strength steel, which is named after its high strength.

Characteristics

High-strength steel sheet is a kind of weldable low-carbon engineering structural material, generally produced by continuous rolling mill. Its carbon content is <0.25%, which mainly depends on the solid solution of alloying elements (Mn, Si, Al, Cr, etc.), grain refinement (Nb, V, Ti, etc.), precipitation hardening (Nb, V, Ti, etc.) ), phase transformation strengthening (Mn, Si, Mo, etc.), controlled rolling, controlled cooling and other new processes and new technologies, so that the yield strength of the steel plate is σ0.2=300~800MPa, the yield ratio is 0.65~0.95, and it has Very good processing formability and welding performance, as well as excellent low temperature toughness.

Application

High-strength thin steel plates can be delivered in single sheets or coils, and are mainly used for welding oil (gas) pipelines, deep well tubing, vehicles, pressure vessels, bridges, etc. Component. The most widely used steel grade is 16Mn.

Thin steel plate

Thin steel plate is a steel plate with a thickness of 0.2-4mm produced by hot rolling or cold rolling. The width of the thin steel plate is between 500 and 2500mm. According to different uses, the thin steel plate has different materials: ordinary carbon steel, high-quality carbon structural steel, alloy structural steel, carbon tool steel, stainless steel, spring steel, silicon steel for electrical engineering and so on. They are mainly used in the automobile industry, aviation industry, enamel industry, electrical industry, machinery industry and other sectors. Thin steel sheets are delivered directly after rolling, and are also pickled (pickled steel sheets), galvanized or tinned.

Cold rolled steel sheet

Cold rolled steel sheet is most used in mass production. The thickness of cold-rolled sheet steel is between 0.15mm and 3.2mm, and the car body mostly adopts the thickness of 0.6mm to 0.8mm. This kind of thin steel plate has very high dimensional accuracy, smooth surface, good mechanical properties and processability. It is mainly used for exterior side panels, roof covers, engine covers, fenders, trunk covers, door panels and instrument panels. Covering parts, these parts require materials with high formability, good surface quality and welding performance.
