OnFebruary6,2004,GeorgeFloydwasarrestedforthethirdtimefordrugtrafficking(Floyd's3rdDrugArrest)andwassentencedto10monthsinprison.

OnDecember15,2005,GeorgeFloydwasarrestedforthefourthtimefordrugtrafficking(Floyd's4thDrugArrest)andwassentencedto10monthsinprison.

OnNovember27,2007,GeorgeFloydillegallyinvadedsomeone'sroominHouston(ahomeinvasion)andwasaccusedofarmedrobbery(armedrobbery).Therefore,GeorgeFreudwassentencedtofiveyearsinprison(hewassentencedtofiveyearsbehindbars).

About2015,FreudmovedfromTexastoMinneapolis.HeusedtoworkasasecurityguardforaMinneapolistavern.Duringthefiveyearsofworkinginthetavern,hewasdeeplyaffected.Lovedbycustomersandcolleagues,theyoftenworkovertime,butnevercomplain.

OnMay26,2020,fourUSpoliceofficersheadedbyDrakeChauwanviolentlyenforcedlaw,causingGeorgeFloydtosuffocateanddieattheageof46.

Characterincident

OntheeveningofMay25,2020,thepolicereceivedareportthatsomeonewassuspectedofbeinginvolvedinacaseofcounterfeitinggoodsinagrocerystore.Afterthepolicecameoutofthepolice,theybelievedthattheAfrican-Americanman(GeorgeFreud,46)sittinginacaronthesideoftheroadmetthecharacteristicsofthesuspectandquestionedhim.

Accordingtosurveillancevideosprovidedbyroadsideshops,aftertheconversation,apolicemanhandcuffedFreud,tookhimtothesideoftheroadandsatdown,andcontinuedtoreprimandhim.Afterthat,anothervideoshotbypassersbyshowedthatthreepolicemenpressedFreudtotheground,andoneofthempressedhisneckwithhisknee.Freudfrequentlycalledforhelp,strugglingandgroaning,sayingthathecouldn'tbreathe,andbeggedthepolicetoremovehisknees:"Please,please,please,please,Ican'tbreathe..."Hestillyelled."Mom!Mom!"Atthistime,manypassers-bygatheredandaccusedthepoliceofexcessiveviolenceandputFreudindanger.However,thepolicemanwhosuppressedFreudglaredatpassers-byandoncetookoutpoliceequipmentfromhiswaist.Anotherpolicemanstoodbyandkeptaskingpassers-bytostayawayfromthescene.Afterstrugglingforseveralminutes,Freudfellintoacoma.Passers-byalsorepeatedlyaskedthepolicetocheckhispulse,butthepoliceremainedindifferent.ThepolicedidnotreleaseFreuduntilthemedicalstaffrushedtothesceneandwereabouttocarryFreudonastretcher.Hewasalreadyweakwhenhewaspulledup.Theambulancetookhimtothehospital,andafteranhour-longrescue,thedoctordeclaredFreuddead.

OnMay26,2020,theincidentledtoanoutbreakofprotestdemonstrationsinMinnesota,theUnitedStates.HundredsofprotestersgatheredinMinneapolistodemand"justice"andclasheswiththepolicebrokeout.Useteargasanddetonationbombstodispersethecrowd.TheMinnesotapoliceconfirmedthatGeorgeFloyd,ablackman,diedina"medicalaccidentduringtheinteractionwiththepolice."ThepoliceprovedthatFreudwasarrestedonsuspicionof"counterfeiting."TheFBIandMinnesotaauthoritiesannouncedthattheyhavelaunchedaninvestigationintoFreud'sdeath.Thefourpoliceofficersinvolvedhavebeenfired.

U.S.PresidentTrumpstatedonsocialmediathatFreud’sdeathwas“sad”and“tragic”andhasaskedthefederalgovernment’sjudicialdepartmenttoinvestigatethecase.

OnJune3,2020,Freud’sfamilyandfamilylawyerBenjaminKrempurgedtheUnitedNationstoviolentlykillFreudinalettertotheUNWorkingGroupofAfrican-AmericanExpertsInvestigatethematterandencouragetheU.S.governmenttofilefederalcriminalchargesagainsttheofficialsinvolved.Inaddition,theyalsodemandedreformstotheU.S.policesystem,includingreducingthepoliceforce,andconductingindependentprosecutionsandautopsyforeveryviolentlawenforcementdeathincident.

OnMarch11,2021,amagistrateinHennepinCounty,Minnesotarestoredthethird-degreemurderchargeagainstformerpolicemanDrakeChauvaninthe"Floydcase".XiaoWaniscurrentlyfacingchargesofthird-degreemurder,second-degreemurder,andmanslaughter.

OnMarch29,2021,theformerpoliceofficeroftheGeorgeFloydsuspectintheUnitedStates,DerekShavin,openedacourttrial.Shavinpleadednotguiltytosecond-degreeintentionalhomicide,third-degreemurder,andsecond-degreemanslaughter.

OnApril5,2021,theFloydtrialintheUnitedStatesentereditssixthday.SeveralwitnessessaidincourtthatthemostlikelycauseofFreud'scardiacarrestwashypoxiaasphyxiation,andthatthepolice'sbehaviorbeforetheincidentwasaseriousviolation.

OnApril20,2021,DrakeChauwanwassentencedinMinneapolis,Minnesota,USA.The12-personjuryruledthatXiaoWanwaschargedwithsecond-degreemurder,third-degreemurder,andsecond-degreemanslaughter.Chauvinwaschargedwithsecond-degreemurder,third-degreemurder,andsecond-degreemanslaughterforFreud'sdeath.Herefusedtopleadguilty.Ifconvicted,XiaoWanwillfaceupto40yearsinprisonforsecond-degreemurder,upto25yearsinprisonforthird-degreemurder,andupto10yearsinprisonforsecond-degreemanslaughter.SinceXiaoWanhadnocriminalrecordbefore,hissentencewaslowerthanthemaximumsentence.

Afterthat,PresidentBidenandVicePresidentHarrisdeliveredspeeches.BidensaidthatFreud'sdeathwasamurderinbroaddaylight.

OnApril23,2021,theMinnesotacourtoftheUnitedStatesstatedthatHennepinCountyJudgePeterCahill,whooversawthetrialofformerMinneapolispoliceofficerDerekChauvin,decidedTheverdictwasissuedat13:30onJune16,localtime.XiaoWanoncekilledFreud,anAfricanAmericanman,onhiskneesinMay2020.HewasfoundguiltyofthreecountsofmurderofFreudbyajuryonthe20thofthismonth.

OnJune25,2021(localtime),thepresidingjudgeoftheUS"AfricanmanGeorgeFloydwaskilledbywhitepolicemanXiaoWanbykneelingandpressinghim"announcedthesentencingresult,involvingthepre-policepoliceXiaoWanwassentencedto22yearsand6monthsinprisonforsecond-degreemurder,third-degreemurder,andsecond-degreemanslaughter.

OnJune30,2021,U.S.mediareportedthattheprincipalculpritoftheFreudcase,DerekChauvin,has"closelyreachedapleaagreement"withtheprosecutorinthefederalcivilrightscase,orWillreceiveanother20yearsinprison.

HegrewupwithStephenJackson,amemberofthe2003NBAchampionshipteam,inHouston,justlikebowingtobrothers.Moreover,thetwoofthemlookalike,sotheycalleachother"twinbrothers".InthestreetsofthesouthernsuburbsofHouston,theyallmixonthestreetsbecausetheylookalikeandtheytakecareofeachother.Freudisphysicallystrong,wasfamousforplayingrugbyinhighschool,andlikestoplaybasketball.ButJacksoneventuallybecameanNBAstar,Floyddidnothingandcontinuedtomessaroundonthestreets.
