Productionmethod

Itisobtainedbyabsorbingtrimethylaminefromdichloroethaneandheatingittoreact.

Uses

Chlormequatcancontrolthevegetativegrowthofplants(thatis,thegrowthofroots,stemsandleaves),promotethereproductivegrowthofplants(thatis,thegrowthofflowersandfruits),andimprovethegrowthofplants.Fruitsetrate.

Chlormequathasaregulatoryeffectoncropgrowth,whichcanpromotetillering,increaseearsandincreaseyield.Afteruse,thechlorophyllcontentincreases,whichmakestheleavesgreenish,photosynthesisstrengthened,leavesthickened,androotsdeveloped.

Chlormequatinhibitsthebiosynthesisofendogenousgibberellin,therebydelayingcellelongation,makingplantsdwarfed,stalksthick,andinternodesshortened,andcanpreventplantsfromovergrowingandlodging.(Theinhibitoryeffectofchlormequatoninternodeelongationcanberelievedbyexternalapplicationofgibberellin.)

Playastabilizingrole)accumulation,whichisconducivetoimprovingplantresistancetostress,suchasdroughtresistance,coldresistance,salt-alkaliresistanceanddiseaseresistance.

Afterchlormequattreatment,thenumberofstomataintheleavesdecreases,reducesthetranspirationrate,andcanincreasedroughtresistance.

Chlormequatiseasilydegradedbyenzymesinsoil,andisnoteasilyfixedbysoil,soitdoesnotaffectsoilmicrobialactivitiesorcanbedecomposedbymicroorganisms.Itdoesnotcontainchlorineorbromineatomsandhasnoozonedepletioneffect,soitisnotharmfultotheenvironment.

Howtouse

Theeffectofthisgrowthregulatoristheoppositeoftheeffectofgibberellin.Itisanantagonistofgibberellinanditsphysiologicalfunctionistocontrolthevegetativegrowthofplants.(Thatis,thegrowthofroots,stemsandleaves).

Specificusage:

1.Whenpeppersandpotatoesstarttogrow,spraytheleaveswith1600-2500mg/LofChlormequatduringthebuddingtofloweringperiod.Itcancontrolthegrowthofthegroundandincreasetheyield.Sprayingthestemsandleavesofthepepperwith20-25mg/Lofchlormequatcancontrolthegrowthandincreasethefruitsettingrate.

2.Spraythechlormequatmedicinalsolutionwithaconcentrationof4000-5000mg/Lonthegrowthpointsofcabbage(lotuswhite)andcelery,whichcaneffectivelycontrolboltingandflowering.

3.Sprinkle50mg/LofChlormequatonthesoilsurfaceduringthetomatoseedlingstage,whichcanmakethetomatoplantcompactandflowerearly.Iftomatoesarefoundtogrowaftercolonizationandtransplanting,use500mg/Lofchlormequatdiluenttopour100-150mlperplant.Theeffectwillbeshownin5-7days,andtheeffectwillbeshownafter20-30days.Disappearandreturntonormal.

Precautions

1.Thespraymustbere-sprayedifitiswashedbyrainwithinonedayafterspraying.

2.Thesprayingperiodshouldnotbetooearly,andtheconcentrationofthemedicamentshouldnotbetoohigh,soasnottocauseexcessiveinhibitionofcropsandcausephytotoxicity.

3.Treatingcropswithchlormequatcannotreplacefertilization,andmanagementoffertilizerandwatershouldstillbedoneinordertoachieveabetteryieldincreaseeffect.

4.Itcannotbemixedwithalkalinedrugs.
