Origin

Australia is the most important sapphine product in the world today. It comes from many different mining areas, such as Inverlrell in New South Wales; Queensland's Anaji, Robetville, Saffer; and Willows on the central rail line, there is Tas Mania and other places. Most of the blue sapphire produced is too dark, the value is not high, and there are many yellow (often moving micro-green yellow) sapphire.

I found a yellow sapphire of 217.5 carat in VLOS. Australia is also a major supply of many high-quality green sapphires. It also produces many black star blue gems. As found in 1948, the famous Queensland Black Rock, weighing 733 carats, is the largest star blue gem of the world. Also, the vast majority of sapphires in Australia have been shipped to Thailand. After the color change, it is sold in the name of Thai sapphire. Commercially, there will be a blueme-free sapphire with dark blue to ink black and has a thick green to dark purple blue. It is called Australian blue gem without saying it.
