Iron-nickel alloy
iron-nickel alloy
Also includes the following alloys: (1) 68Fe+27Ni+5Mo and 53Fe+42Ni+5Mo, with It has a high thermal expansion coefficient and can be used as the bimetallic sheet of thermostat, heat exchanger and various temperature regulating devices. (2) 46Ni+54Fe, called platinum replacement, has the same expansion coefficient as platinum, has good corrosion resistance, and can replace platinum in some occasions. (3) 42Ni+58Fe can be used as a vacuum tube sealing wire instead of platinum. (4) 36NJ+12Cr+52Fe is a constant elastic alloy with a thermal elastic coefficient equal to zero. It is often used as hairpins, watch balance wheels and precision instrument parts. Ingots are made by melting method and processed into materials by pressure.
